BENCHTOP TABLET PRESS REBUILDING SERVICE

We rebuild your tablet press purchased from an other dealer that was not upgraded for durability and dependability. We completely disassemble the press, inspect and replace all damaged parts.

We upgrade the press to the same standards of the machines that we sell, to include:

1. Installation of a new U.S. manufactured industrial quality motor with a highly durable power cord and drive belt.  We install your choice of motor that is compatible with American or European electrical current.
   (The stock motors that are factory installed on these machines are underpowered and often burn out).

2. We bore and install bronze sleeve bearings on the main shaft to prevent seize ups. This bearing is not installed on factory models. Seize ups are common on presses that do not have this bearing installed.

3. We bore and tap openings for additional grease fittings. We replace the Chinese grease fittings with U.S. style "zerk" grease fittings.
   The Chinese grease fittings do not allow for high pressure grease application. High pressure lubrication is necessary for grease to reach all critical wear points.

4. We make modifications to prevent the punches from freezing in the drift pins. (A common problem with factory built presses that makes changing of dies sets very difficult.)

5. We install a roller bearing type cam follower on the bed punch rod to prevent wear resulting in inconsistent tablet thickness and firmness.

6. We remove all Chinese (soft metal) set screws and install US hardened set screws. The Chinese set screws invariably strip out resulting in the need for drilling out and retapping of the threads.

7. We remove the soft metal shear pin from the flywheel and bore and install a US roll type shear pin.

8. We completely clean, lube and adjust the press prior to shipping it to you, and provide a grease gun preloaded with high quality ultra synthetic food grade grease.
